About Olifantsbos Beach
If you are after more than just a beach, you have found it. Olifantsbos Beach is a stunning little beach situated right next to Cape point nature reserve. Surrounded by nature with breathtaking views, Olifantbos beach is not a spot to be missed.
This is surfer’s paradise and well frequented by the local surfing fraternity. Being right at Cape Point you will feel the South Easterly wind of Cape Town blowing which creates a swell, ideal for riding into shore at the right point break.
Fancy some dryer activity? Keep your eye out for the well marked beach walks and hiking trails. You won’t be disappointed… the Sirkelsvlei walk is scenic and a decent challenge, as is the Shipwreck trail which is not to be missed.
Parking is freely available and ablution blocks are available for your needs. Green lawn areas provide an ideal place to get that picnic basket out and relax while enjoying the scenery and atmosphere around you.
