About Noordhoek Beach
Noordhoek beach is a dog friendly and family friendly beach that stretches for kilometers. Its scenic beauty and surrounding vegetation is truly stunning. This is an ideal location for both surfers and kitesurfers.
The sea here is rough and often cold so is not renowned for great swimming conditions but rather for water sports, horeseriding and relaxing. Jogging along Noordhoek beach is great exercise and it is a large enough area with so much to see that you cannot get bored easily.
If you feel like a bit of a hike you can get onto the Hoerikwaggo Trail which will take you from the beach all the way to Kommetjie. Get a picnic basket together, take the family, some kites and ball games and really enjoy a wonderful day in an outstanding location.
Noordhoek beach sits at the bottom of Noordhoek village which you can reach via Chapmans Peak Drive. The views from Chapmans Peak are exquisite, especially as Noordhoek beach comes into sight.
