Míhudi comes from the Setswana word, ĎMohudií which means Ďharvesterí. A great African story tells the tale of a heroine, Míhudi who ran away from her war torn to begin again. It speaks of courage and boldly pursuing dreams. Míhudi wines were founded by the Rangaka family.
This boutique estate has views of the Stellenbosch Mountains, Franschhoek and Table Mountain. In this position, the warm valley floor with its sandstone soils is cooled by the South Easterly winds.
Grapes are sourced from regions recognised for the cultivars and grapes from the farm are used to make their wine. Get away from it all at the Míhudi Bed and Breakfast in the middle of the working farm, with beautiful views and a cosy family environment. Visit the farm for a wine tasting, small dinners or corporate meetings.
There is ample space for a marquee for your bigger occasions and an old tractor shed that has been renovated to accommodate your every need. Míhudi Wines walked away with the 2010 / 2011 Winner of Emerging Tourism Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Míhudi offers a premium range and an ĎOn the Moveí range.
