The Western Cape is renowned the world over for its spectacular scenery. Mountain after imposing mountain rolls into deep gorges and lush valleys, interspersed with vineyards and orchards.

This splendour is best enjoyed by spending time in the outdoors; soaking up the sights, sounds, and smells of Mother Nature.

The Lower Gobos Walk is an easy walk of four kilometres that takes about an hour to complete. There is a picnic spot as part of the trail, which is a fantastic way to revel in the beauty of the area after enjoying the walk.

To access this trail, take the Riviersonderend Road out of the little town of Greyton. Then, follow the river to the picnic site, where the trail begins.
