The Lazy Lizard in Church Street

Prince Albert, in the serene seclusion of the Karoo in the Western Cape, is a quiet little town that is characterised by historical buildings and exquisite landscapes. The Lazy Lizard was once a bus terminal for local commuters, giving it a certain air of nostalgia. Today, though, it is an internet café, eatery, and tourist hotspot that provides useful information to visitors.

The food, while simple, is well-known amongst locals and regular visitors for its excellent value for money and its great quality. The service is also friendly, making those coming to Lazy Lizard to catch up on emails or grab a meal comfortable.

Computers are available for those who do not opt to bring their own laptops. In addition, there are computer parts and complete PCs to purchase, as well as helpful service staff on hand. Those who do not have much time can get a takeaway, or drop in for a quick coffee and cake.

The Lazy Lizard curio shop showcases local art, as well as books, postcards, paintings and more. In addition, tourists are able to get brochures and maps to assist with their travels. Lazy Lizard is centrally situated in Church Street.
