About Klein Parys Wine Estate
Klein Parys is the oldest estate in the Paarl (meaning Pearl of the Cape) region and was first granted to the Le Roux Family by Willem Adriaan van der Stel in 1692.
Renowned winemaker, Kosie Möller and his family acquired the estate in 2002 and set out on a path to become a premium wine producer. His studies in Oenology, viticulture and chemistry along with visits to global wineries went a long way towards his success and winning awards such as the Best Merlot at the International Wine and Spirit competition in London and the Best Chardonnay in Paris. All grapes are hand-picked from the farm and harvested from ‘Miller’s Mile’ which comes from Kosie Möller (Möller derives from Miller in Germany) and their farm which lies beside the Berg River for a mile.
The Miller’s Range hopes to reflect the diverse cultures of Cape Town which stem from all part of the world such as Europe, the East and Africa. The Range brings together cultivars and blends including Chenin Blanc, cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Pinotage and Merlot.
Taste the wines with cheeses, olives, farm bread or pate’s in the tasting room which is part of the Klein Parys Deli or sit beneath the giant oaks overlooking the mountains and Paarl Monument.
