About Hike And Picnic At Bontebok National Park
Just a mere 6 kilometres from Swellendam is the Bontebok National Park. It is the ideal spot for a beautiful day hike and picnic.
This area is part of the Cape Floral Kingdom and is abundant in exquisite flora. You are very likely to see a number of animals while here including the Grey Rhebuck, Red Hartebeest and the Bontebok, as well as a few smaller creatures.
There is a great spot along the river bank with a braai area, allowing you the opportunity to stop off halfway through your walk or at the end of your walk for some lunch. This is the perfect place to enjoy a picnic and not one you are likely to find anywhere else.
If you are looking for a great day out with the family, this is the place to come, you can enjoy, fresh air, stunning scenery and plenty of nature.
