Every Saturday morning in the delightful town of Hermanus you can enjoy a unique outdoor deli experience. Here you can buy local fresh produce, direct from the source from over 30 traders who offer the best produce from the Cape Overberg region.

A regular meeting place for both locals and visitors to Hermanus, you can sit back and enjoy a cup of coffee and breakfast before you peruse the wonderful fresh produce on offer. Organic fruit and vegetables, home-baked breads and cakes (muffins, scones etc), delicious home-made cheeses and yoghurt are few of the delicacies you'll find here. Also on offer are plenty of herbs, home-made jams and honey, biltong, Mediterranean foods and did we mention the Belgian chocolates? Also shop for indigenous plants, fresh-cut flowers and succulents.

We have over 35 fresh produce suppliers with organic and biodynamic vegetables, artisan breads, Italian delicacies - olives, pestos etc; hand-made cheeses, unpasteurised yoghurts from very happy cows in Wolwengat and a plethora of other delectable goodies...

This season we are offering four "Summer Night Markets" on Wednesdays, starting on the 15th, 22nd, 29th of December 2010 and the 6th January 2011. Live guitarist, hoola hoops and horse rides for the kids and a whole cricket field to picnic on, just bring a basket and a blanket, and some friends. Stunning local wines will be on offer, and a host of picnic specialities to make up a gorgeous evening under the stars.
