Visiting the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve used to be tightly restricted due to the magnificent flora that grows in this area, but luckily, due to public demand, the Perdeberg Trail was opened about 25 years ago.

A permit from CapeNature is required in order to do this 15km walk but the views of the Elgin Valley and the surrounding mountains are beautiful as are the flowers that you will pass along the way.
