In 2005 Gunther and Balbina Huerttlen have added their warm Bavarian hospitality to the leafy, oak-lined streets of Robertson and founded GuBas-DeHoek, the place, where you meet, eat, sleep in the valley of wine and roses.

Apart from the wonderful ambience of this lovingly restored home-from-home, we offer excellent cuisine, under the personal attention of former head chef, Gunter, whose state of the art kitchen helps him to provide gourmet meals which will tantalise your taste buds. Our reputation has been built on attention to detail, personal and professional service, beautifully decorated tables and the superb cuisine.

We are fully licensed. Our bar is well stocked and you can enjoy a cool Bavarian Erdinger yeast beer or the finest wines from the Robertson Wine Valley. Our choir, the Golden Voices, will be honoured to entertain our guests.

The stylish restaurant with lounge and an open fireplace, seats 20 guests while the cosy bar seats 12. Additional seating on the Garden terrace for 16 guests and 12 in the covered braai area. Come and be our guest!
