Watching a shark from land is a fascinating experience the same way reading about music is an educational experience; submerging yourself into shark infested waters is like being played as an adrenal instrument.
Approaching the target zone of 'Shark Alley' your subconscious mind spontaneously hums the chords of the Jaws movie theme music, growing louder over the engine sound as you travel the 10Km off shore into the Indian Ocean. Finally when you are sinking in a cage into the salty liquid habitat of this feared predator, the rushing sound of your own heartbeat can be heard in isolation in your eardrums. Then, as submerge turns to observe this fierce water creature of tooth and tail...only silence.
Silence for the beauty of the beast, silence in the audience of sheer power of breaching fin and silence as a gratitude to the live witness of a wild natured feed.
Scuba and snorkel dive options (all equipment is provided) is supervised by dive masters in a 6 man steel cage with a porthole for adventure photos. Human safety and shark conservation are strictly exercised at all times with the professional crew of White Shark ecoventures. No training is necessary for this eyes to eye, nose to snout, eat-your-fish-I'm-brave-behind-bars experience. Enter the shark's environment with intrigue and a rush; leave with awe and respect.
