About De Wet Cellar
The oldest cellar in Worcester, De Wet Cellar, was established in 1946. Since 1990 red and white wine grapes have been planted in large amounts. With their modern cellar, the amount of their grapes produced has increased to 18 000 tons annually. Worcester has seen their wines being crowned as Champion Wines for many a year. Whilst small amounts of the their wines are bottled and sold in the area and from their cellar, the majority supply the wholesale trade.
De Wet proudly found the huge export brand named FirstCape which is a large brand leaving the country for the UK. This cellar is reknowned for Pettilant Fronté which is a low alcohol Perlé wine low in calories but massive on flavour. They also produce a fresh style of Methode Cap Classique which has delicious citrus and biscuit flavours and undertones of the classical Methode Cape Classique characters.
