The De Krans Wine Cellar is one of the favourites in the area not only because of their fabulous wine but also it is a popular destination from late November to early December as you can go Apricot Picking.

The farm has been in the Nel family since 1890, however it was in 1985 that many of the wine varietals, including Portuguese Port were planted. Stroebel Nel is the viticulturist on hand.

It is well known that the staff is friendly and accommodating with both their knowledge and time. The cellar offers a wide variety which includes Moscato, Pink and Cape Ruby Port and a few other fortified wines.
