Dassiesfontein Farm Stall on the N2 to Caledon

Dassiesfontein is a fully licensed restaurant and traditional farmer's fare situated in the heart of the Overberg. From humble beginnings 12 years ago, we sold homemade goods from two wagons next to the N2. In 1995 we built the farmstall and a year later the restaurant was added to become what is today a thriving business.

Dassiesfontein represents the spirit of true South African hospitality. The perfect place to rest your legs while enjoying traditional, homemade South African cuisine, and what better than a cold beer or a cup of hot coffee to make it just that more enjoyable.

Dassiesfontein Farm Stall on the N2 to Caledon

In our shop you'll find a variety of products, produced right here in the Overberg. All meals are served with our own farm butter and special homemade bread, baked daily in our wood ovens.

The recently opened Dairy at Dassiesfontein is run and owned by the Caledon Food and Beverage Group. We supply milk, yoghurt, fruit juices and a delicious cheese range directly to the market. Our cheese is marketed under the Overberger brand. Because we are a smaller company, we provide excellent client and product service.
