City Bowl Market on Hope is becoming the place where Cape foodies meet and is the new place to be in Cape Town. We have exciting stallholders and products – think bagels, Indian, sushi and croissants, but also fresh produce, bacon-and-egg rolls, ciabata, cheese and everything in between.
The market is housed in an exquisite old building in Gardens with a fascinating history, (Zionist Hall, Jehovah’s Church, Indian Temple) the City Bowl Market on Hope is the place to meet friends and feed the family, while stocking the larder with a range of home-made delicacies.
It caters for the whole family with a garden and jungle gym for the kids, draft beer for the dads and lots and lots of irresistible goodies to tempt and torment the fussiest of foodies.
The City Bowl Market trades every Saturday between 9am and 2pm. It is situated at 14 Hope Street; Gardens … every garden should have a market after all! There is lots of parking available.
