'Bear builders' assist in building a beary cute friend starting from the wide selection of a basic bear character; to the choosing and insertion of its signature sing / giggle / growl / personal message sound-chip; to it's individual stuffing for desired huggability; to it's red satin heart placement; to it's final sealing stitch and barcoding, to it's grooming, to it's wardrobe selection, through it's international naming and all the way home.
'Choose Me', 'Hear me', 'Stuff Me', 'Stitch Me', 'Fluff me', 'Dress Me',' Name Me' and finally 'Take Me Home'; these are all the stations at the Build-A-Bear Workshops.
The clothing choices include designer bear haute couture, fun fashions as well as licensed brands and hero costumes. Each bear has a unique barcode that is matched with it's creator's details so that if lost and returned to any workshop across the world it will be reunited with it's maker. The official naming is captured on a global database and a birth certificate issued so that a 'bear-thday' party can be celebrated with a teddy bears picnic. These workshops are great for indoor weather days and the crafted teddy companions will be friends forever.
