Walk with Elephants at The Elephant Sanctuary

The renowned Elephant Sanctuary is located in an area of untamed bush, just around the corner from the Hartbeespoort Dam. You will get to walk with the elephants and will also hear a brief talk by one of the guides.

There are three daily programmes to choose from, all under the guidance of expert handlers and lunch can be added on as an optional extra. Elephant rides can be booked and overnight options are available.

Directions: Take the R512 to Hartbeespoort Dam. Cross the dam and turn right at the T-junction. Turn left at the four way stop and continue down the road for approximately 2.5kms.
