About The Coffee Shop

The Coffee Shop is a convenient little spot for the family to have a hot cup of coffee, a cold drink, and a tasty treat while they explore the Chameleon Village in Hartbeespoort Dam. Nestled right alongside the Reptile & Conservation Park, this outdoor coffee shop is a family-run venture with a personal touch.

The Coffee Shop is a peaceful place where folk can enjoy the sunshine and high blue skies of the Hartbeespoort area, in the North West Province. The menu comprises breakfasts (there is a breakfast special every two weeks), toasted sandwiches, burgers, and other light meals, as well as plenty of sweet treats, all made from scratch. These include scones, muffins, chocolate cake, cheesecake, vanilla cake and milk tart, depending on what is available at the time. Allergies and preferences are accommodated, as far as possible.

The Coffee Shop does not have a liquor licence, but patrons can enjoy a variety of coffee, tea, hot chocolate, Milo, soft drinks and milkshakes. Children will love visiting The Coffee Shop as they can keep busy with the sand art and painting facilities here, while their parents relax and savour their hot cuppa.

The Coffee Shop can be booked for special occasions, such as kiddies’ parties or get-togethers with friends and family. It is wheelchair-friendly, and is open on weekends and public holidays.

Chameleon Village, in which The Coffee Shop is situated, is an African market that is open from Monday to Sunday. It is a bustling hub of arts and crafts, with a distinctive friendly vibe. In addition to the Reptile & Conservation Park here, there is also the lion park, where the king of the African savannahs can be seen up close.
