Just two hours north of Johannesburg, The Waterberg Meander consists of 8000 sq km of savannah, stretching from Marakele Mational Park in the south-west, to Wonderkop nature reserve in the north-east.
The Waterberg forms a wide basin in which four of the main rivers in Limpopo originate, and the exquisite landscape is one of rolling hills, endless views and a distinct bushveld feel. The Waterberg Biosphere Reserve is a beautiful part of South Africa, with its own unique wild beauty, offering close encounters with Africa's charismatic wildlife, savannah as far as the eye can see, a rich biodiversity - all of which can be explored on foot, horseback or in a vehicle.
