Adventures With Elephants in Bela Bela, Limpopo

Offering way more than the usual "Touch and Feed' elephant experience, Adventures With Elephants offer unique intimate hands-on educational elephant interactions, Elephant Back Safaris, swims and starlight safaris.

Adventures With Elephants is managed by the Hensman family who have lived and worked with elephants since 1988 and as such offer unrivalled elephant experiences. Our friendly and experienced elephant handlers will share their passion and in-depth knowledge with you our guest, throughout this wonderful encounter with these magnificent pachyderms. You will discover so much more about elephant in this unique hands-on manner whilst witnessing the elephant's intelligence, compassionate nature and sheer delight in interacting with their human companions. Should you then wish to enjoy the bliss of the wild from an elephant's view point you may choose to silently traverse the African bushveld atop an elephant in search of wildlife on the Elephant-back Safari, you may also choose to Swim with the elephants or even try a Starlight Safari.

Adventures With Elephants is an educational elephant interaction facility / venue located on a beautiful 300 hectare wildlife reserve. AWE is situated an hour's drive north from Pretoria and is a short 35 km from Bela Bela off the R516 on the D1000 adjacent to the Zebula Country Club.
