About Hiking The Hlobane Mountain
There is an interesting hike you can go on while in Hlobane that will take you through the all famous battlefield.
A key is required to enter this area and it is advised that only experience hikers participate and special permission will be needed in order to enter.
The views from the summit are simply breathtaking and the area is steeped in history making this hike a phenomenal one. This site is where the British troops were ambushed by a Zulu army.
The battlefield lies on a private mine property and a guided tour is best to explore this magnificent area.
