About Drakensberg Ballooning
Take a hot air balloon trip over KwaZulu Natal with Drakensberg Ballooning and feast your eyes on exquisite panoramic views. You will be able to see from Giants Castle in Southern Drakensberg all the way to the Amphitheatre in Northern Drakensberg.
Balloon rides are in the mornings before sunrise, allowing you the best view of the sunset from the skies above. You will be offered Tea and Coffee as well as rusks on arrival to enjoy during your briefing before setting off.
Make sure you wear warm clothes and closed shoes. You will be on your feet for the duration of the flight so will need to be physically fit to do this. Children over the age of 7 years are welcome.
Flights usually last an hour after which you will be served a delicious breakfast back at the launch site. Make sure you bring your camera to capture the moment. You can also look forward to a certificate of bravery at the end as proof of your wonderful flight.
