About Banana Beach
Bring your board, wetsuit or tackle to Banana beach. The large rock pools make an ideal spot for snorkeling and exploration with a wide array of phenomenal sea life to be discovered.
Cast your line into the waters from the rocks or shore and enjoy the stunning scenery around you while waiting for your catch. Settle into the sand and soak up the sun while looking out at sea with the very good chance of spotting dolphins playing happily in the waves. During the sardine run, dolphin activity increases as does the opportunity of seeing many other marine followers. Humpback whales come in groups from June to November which is a sight not to be missed.
This long stretch of beach is great to stretch your legs on while the water is safe for swimming with shark nets and lifeguards around.
