Visit the Museum of Military History. Although relics of war are not everyone’s cup of tea, this museum is very popular.
Besides examples of tanks and aircrafts (a Messerschmitt Me-262 jet is one of only two to have survived), a submarine, swords, guns, uniforms and medals from both World Wars, it houses mementos from every civil war South Africa has ever fought.
