Surf Café in Plett on the Garden Route prides itself on being a ‘social food’ venue. Not a pub, not only a restaurant, Surf Café was the invention of a man passionate about surfing and food. The simple menu consists of meals of a high standard, with the Indian Ocean as a backdrop. Try your hand at surfing at the surf school and work up a real appetite before enjoying the unique vibe at Surf Café. More than a restaurant, Surf Café is an experience of local surf culture.

Start off with punchy snacks such as the Nachos Pequenos - crisp corn tortilla chips baked with refried beans and cheese topped with salsa, sour cream and guacamole, or the sticky chicken wings and satay sauce, consisting of 3 chicken wings prepared in our sweet Indonesian marinade, served with a spicy peanut dipping sauce.

The mains menu is also Mexican inspired, with dishes such as the refried beans, tacos, quesadillas and enchiladas made to perfection, with a host of toppings and fillings. Homemade burgers are served on a soft roll, with a side of chips.

Finally, the dessert menu begs for attention, with delights such as chocolate brownies served with vanilla ice cream, lemon tart served with fresh cream, mojito sorbet or a dom pedro.
