The Jubilee Creek Picnic Site is simply spectacular, taking full advantage of the natural splendour and abundance of the Garden Route and its lush forests.
It is nestled in the forest, within the valley, and alongside the icy waters of a fresh mountain stream. There are plenty of individual picnic sites along the river, each equipped with a table and bench and barbecue facilities. There are bush toilets as well as fresh water available too.
The stream is perfect for swimming. There is also a waterfall and swimming hole just 1.5 kilometres away from the picnic site, which makes for a great walk known as the Jubilee Creek Walk. No permit is required, but there is a control boom through which to enter. The fee is under R20.00 per person.
