The Tsitsikamma is an exquisite part of the Garden Route in South Africa. It is breath-taking in its natural splendour and its abundance in fauna and flora, and continues to be one of the most frequently visited and loved places in the Western Cape. One of the best ways to experience this beauty is on horseback.
Hog Hollow Horse Trails offers locals and visitors the opportunity to smell the fynbos and ferns, to feel the sunshine and to experience the sensation of Africa on their minds and hearts as they venture out into the countryside on one of the well-trained and responsive horses. Travel through the Western Cape and see the forests, mountains and valleys for which the Tsitsikamma is known around the world.
There are three trails from which to choose:
Farm Trail (1 hour)
This takes visitors over beautiful landscapes amongst the sheep and cattle, with backdrops that are nothing short of stunning. This terrain gives riders the ideal opportunity to choose whether they want a restful stroll or a more exhilarating gallop.
Forest Trail (2 hours)
