Het Vijfde Seisoen in George

Het Vijfde Seisoen is a fine-dining restaurant with Belgian twist, situated in Blanco, George. Beautiful views, expansive gardens and terrace dining add to the sumptuous atmosphere at this upmarket establishment.

Overwhelm your taste buds with a selection of delectable starters, including lobster soup ; frog legs in garlic sauce;  real North Sea (Belgian Grey) shrimp cocktail ; Brabants, Asparagus; Foie Gras or triple Belgian paté toast with onion confit. Mains are equally as luxurious, starting with the duck a l’orange; rabbit ‘the Flemish way’ with Belgian Beer ; leg of lamb in mustard marinade; triple venison sensation (Ostrich – Springbok – Venison) served with forest (Belgian) mushrooms.

Sole is the introduction to the seafood menu, while Flemish mussels sound mouth-watering. Le Vraie Bouillabèse de Marseille  is perfect dish for winter, while the giant lobster with garlic-lemon butter competes as a signature dish. Rounding off, the dessert menu is somewhat petite, offering  homemade tiramisu; real Flamish ‘rijstepap met bruine suiker’; chocolate mousse and sabayon Francaise, amongst others.
