Since its inception in 1994, Cornuti al Mare has surprised and delighted patrons with true Italian cuisine, from melt-in-your-mouth seafood dishes, to sophisticated pizza toppings. Based in the heart of Plettenberg Bay, Cornutti has a sophisticated feel, with a vibey and stylish atmosphere.

A cocktail bar adds to its sexy appeal, as a cosmopolitan meeting place, and relaxed dinner spot. Start off with a few choices from their antipasti and insalata menu, such as the Quizatta di Cozze - mussels steamed with white wine, parsley, chopped fresh tomato or the Insalata Di Erbe - fresh rocket and mixed herbs with grilled cherry tomatoes, gooseberries, goat’s cheese, pine nuts & croutons in a wholegrain mustard vinaigrette.

Pasta dishes are exceptional, with offerings such as strips of prime beef fillet, flambéed in brandy and tossed in penne with chopped white mushrooms, fresh cream and parsley; Linguine Al Gamberi - medium tiger prawns, sautéed in olive oil, chilli, garlic & pine nuts, tossed in linguini & stirred with fresh rocket; or Pasta Cornuti Cartoccio - mussels, calamari & prawns sautéed in garlic & olive oil, tossed in linguini, wrapped as a parcel and finished in our wood-burning oven.

Pizzas are the stuff of legends, and lovers of seafood and meat will certainly be satisfied by the dishes on the grill menu. A decadent dessert menu makes for the perfect finale - the Pizza Di Nutella must be the best thing we’ve ever clapped eyes on: layered dessert pizza with nutella, cream, fresh strawberries & chocolate sauce.
