About The Hound and Hare
If you are a fan of pub grub then you might want to plan a trip to Durban if you live in Jozi or vice versa if you live in Durbs. You don’t need more of a reason to stop halfway and drop in at The Hound and Hare in the Eastern Free State.
On the menu are cheesy garlic snails, tongue in sweet mustard sauce, Kassler chops, chicken Cordon Bleu, curries, vegetarian dishes and last but not least, homemade malva pudding - delicious! The delightful country pub will serve as a good resting point on your journey and you should get to meet some of the locals.
