This South African town is set against the backdrop of spectacular mountains, giving it an air of romance and charm that is quite impossible to replicate.

The Rosendal Tennis Club, situated in the little town of the same name, is a fun place for family and friends to converge. Enjoy the fresh Free State air and warm, inviting sunshine while hitting a ball back and forth with an air of entertainment. This club is open to visitors every Saturday afternoon from 14h00. There are three courts, each of which was resurfaced in 2013. They are in fabulous condition, making a game of tennis safer and more fun for young and old alike.

The Rosendal Tennis Club has a cash bar that is well stocked, which provides a great oasis for refreshments after a tennis game, or while watching an international cricket or rugby match on the television. The bar and big screen television are in the gorgeous clubhouse of the private tennis club.

The local residents and farmers of Rosendal can often be found playing a relaxed game of tennis, and these ones make up a jovial, hospital group of people that are a delight to visit.

Visitors are advised to wear the proper gear for tennis courts. The courts and facilities are not available on a Sunday.

Thanks to the natural bounty of Rosendal and its surrounds, visitors that like to keep active will also likely enjoy hiking, walking and cycling along the surrounding trails.
