Ride through the spectacular Eastern Free State

Enjoy the adventure of horse riding and discover the beauty of the Eastern Free State on horseback at Mont Plaisir Guest Farm. We offer a variety of possibilities for both the experienced rider and the beginner.

Beginners Instruction - For beginners we offer special instruction packages. The minimum package is 2 days of 2 hours. At the end of these 4 hours you will be able to make your first ride.

Day rides - Hourly beginners rides and children's lead rides. Intermediate and experienced rides. All day leisure rides including lunch.

Cross country ride - (only for intermediate - and experienced riders with a minimum of 4 riders). This ride will take you through the spectacular Eastern Free State countryside to a beautiful farm where we spend the night. On the 2 days ride we will return the next day to Mont Plaisir. On the 3 days ride we will go the next day on a ride to the Lesotho border area. Spent the night at the farm again. The next day we will return to Mont Plaisir.
