The small fishing village of Mazeppa Bay is nestled along the Wild Coast of South Africa and is seldom visited by tourists. As such, it is peaceful and quiet, boasting spectacular vistas to enjoy while indulging in the serenity. Fishermen frequent the area, and most locals engage in fishing to support themselves and their families.
Mazeppa Bay’s First Beach is rather tropical in appearance, being lined with exotic palm trees. There is a suspension bridge that spans 100 metres, which is used when crossing from the beach to the island. It is from this island that gorgeous views of the beach are best enjoyed. In addition, this island is one of the best deep-sea fishing spots in the area.
