About Longmore Forest MTB Route
This long trail is perfect for the intermediate mountain biker and can take between 2 hours to a few days to complete (if you wanted to come back to cover all routes of course) depending on how long you want to ride for and what routes you decide to take.
The forest is incredibly beautiful and presents many exciting challenges. There is a combination of gravel and forest track to ride on and some adventurous jeep tracks to keep it interesting.
There are rules and regulations for riding here and a permit is required, which can be obtained from Cyclo Pro at the Longmore Forest Station. The station opens at 07h00 so those that do not already have permits can purchase one early and get peddling before the sun is at its hottest.
