When you visit East London, take a walk through the very beautiful Queens Park Zoological Gardens where you will find the East London Zoo. With a remarkable variety of plant life and vegetation this outstanding zoo is home to a wide range of animals, birds and reptiles.
You can expect to see Tigers, White Lions, Brown Lions, a Hyena, a Jaguar, Giraffe, Springbok, Chimpanzees, Chacma Baboons, other small monkeys and much more.
Ducks, Finches, Parrots, Emus and Ostriches can be spotted as well as a range of Lizards, Anacondas, a Crocodile and a Leopard Tortoise.
With so much to see and do, the children are bound to be entertained all day long. There are pony rides available and a playground area for the kids. Grab some peanuts for sale which you can feed to a few of the roaming animals. Food and drinks are on sale at the kiosk where you can sit, relax and enjoy a tasty snack.
