About Canoeing on the Sundays River
Paddle a canoe on the beautiful Sundays River. The Sundays River in Greater Addo is an excellent location for canoeing. Contact Bob to arrange a leisure rowing experience or organised canoe trails.
The source of the 250 km long Sundays River is in the Compassberg Mountains near Nieu-Bethesda.
The river then flows in a general south-easterly direction, passing Graaff-Reinet in the Karoo before winding its way through the Zuurberg Mountains, past Kirkwood and Addo in the fertile Sundays River Valley. It empties into the Indian Ocean at Algoa Bay after running through the village of Colchester.
