The sister restaurant of the famous 34 degrees South restaurant situated at the Knysna Waterfront, 34 degrees South in Port Elizabeth is a vibey deli / bar / restaurant with all the quality you’ve come to expect from the Knysna branch.
Starting with breakfast, 34 degrees caters for small and mega appetites, with a selection of bites, through to steak, egg and chips and yummy forest mushrooms, peppers and crispy bacon with rocket and balsamic cherry tomatoes, or savoury mince with a sweet chilli and tomato relish on rocket and onion rings.
For lunch and dinner, start with Portuguese and Greek influences seafood specialities, such as the pickled calamari heads and mussels in garlic, or the seafood ‘mezze experience’ offering delicious delicacies such as Bismarck herring, through to fresh game fish salad. From the deli, order every pate, pickle, dip, olive, cheese or meat your heart has ever desired.
For lunch, try a rich, warm soup, famous salad or ciabatta with toppings from the deli, or the seafood jambalaya, grilled calamari tubes, fresh fish or the red Thai mussel pot (which is unforgettable). Prawns and oysters are a must-have – do not leave without trying them!
