Lying barely north of Ceres on the R303, just below the Koue Bokkeveld Mountain Catchment area, the Boland town of Prince Alfred's Hamlet is just as it sounds - tiny, virtually devoid of any accommodation, quaint, remote and surrounded by mountains.
