in true African bush.
ACCOMMODATION:
The KubuKwena Golf Lodge is a self-catering, fully serviced lodge that sleeps six people
in three luxury en-suite bedrooms. The main bedroom contains a king size bed an ensuite
bathroom with individual basins, a shower, bath and toilet. The additional rooms and
ensuite bathrooms each consist of two single beds and the bathrooms contain individual
basins, a shower and toilet.
The fully functional kitchen and scullery contain all the features you desire to cater for
yourself with stove, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. Each room in
the lodge contains an individual hot and cold air-conditioning unit and ceiling fans to
ensure maximum comfort.
Along with a sparkling private pool to refresh in, the patio area also contains an outside
shower and a built in gas braai / barbecue facility for a true African bush experience.
After your first night under African skies, wake up to the sounds of the bush, and if you
are lucky, you may glimpse a local hippo making its way back to the water after a night
spent grazing in your garden. You might want to make your way up to the Clubhouse to play
a round of golf on the world famous golf course.

HANS MERENSKY GOLF ESTATE: The challenging 18 hole, Par 72 championship
golf course, rated number 20 in South Africa, extends over a vast area of indigenous fauna
and flora, exotic watering holes and velvet greens. This makes for an interesting day of
golf were normal hazards of a championship course are spiced up with some new additions
like crocodile and hippo lurking in the waters and sights such as giraffe, occasional lion
and various antelope are frequent in the surrounds.

NEARBY: For the true African wildlife experience, only four minutes away
is the entrance to the famous Kruger National Park, one of Africa’s largest and most
spectacular game reserves which stretches the entire length of the estate’s eastern
boundary. For the adventurous, consider a game drive in the open top 4x4 vehicles with
experienced guides to ensure that you see all of what the park has to offer such as
elephant, rhino, lion and if your luck holds even leopard or cheetah. |
