Just north-east of Gauteng lies the big sky region of Dinokeng, where the worlds largest diamond was discovered. The name Dinokeng comes from the be Tswana and bapedi people and has the meaning of Place of Rivers, the Oliphants and Limpopo rivers join here to flow together to the Indian Ocean. This confluence of rivers is historically believed by the local people to be a source of great healing powers. Leopardsong Game Lodge is 45 minute drive from Oliver Tambo Airport and 30 minutes from Pretoria/Tshwane on the N1 or the N4 with a good quality road to take you to you destination.
