Keep your eyes open during the two kilometre drive from the reserve entrance to the lodge for giraffe, buffalo, waterbuck, zebra, impala and over 200 species of resident bird life. You may even come across the elusive leopards which regularly frequent our water holes. AccommodationKlipspringer Lodge offers a fully serviced, bed and breakfast (continental includes cereal, toast, fruit, tea/coffee etc..) experience with all the luxuries of a 4 star bush lodge. The owner is in residence to assist guests with any queries etc you may have. The guest wing comprises of 3 luxury twin suites- all en-suite with an additional outside shower. Additional comfy camp beds are available for a third person sharing a suite. In the main lodge visitors relax with a good book from our extensive library, enjoy the large screen tv, or have a refreshing drink at our custom built pub. For guests wishing to self cater our large fully equipped farmhouse kitchen is at your disposal. For those who require Internet connection visitors may connect via satellite connection. During the heat of the day take a dip in the pool overlooking the waterholes while enjoying the sights and sounds of the bush. In addition to some of the world's best game viewing opportunities, the lodge is perfectly located to explore the surrounding, beautiful Lowveld area which is steeped in human and geological history. Attractions and ActivitiesThe Phalaborwa gate into Kruger National Park is only 15 minutes drive away - making Klipspringer Lodge a wonderful base from which to explore the majestic central regions of the park. This region has far less traffic than the southern areas of Kruger National Park. A variety of game drives and or river cruises may be booked at the lodge including: • Morning or evening game drives • Olifants river cruises • Guided bush walks Pre booking activities is highly advised during peak periods. The local town of Phalabora - a 15 minute drive from the lodge provides a variety of eatinwg options from takeaway to A La Carte and a shopping mall with the usual array of supermarkets, arts and crafts, clothes shops etc. Doctors & dentists are also available in Phalaborwa. Treat the lodge as your home away from home, while you enjoy this unique bush experience. Distances & TravellingKlipspringer Lodge is a comfortable 4.5hr drive from Johannesburg and only 3 hrs from Polokwane and Nelspruit. Phalaborwa Airport is serviced twice daily with 1 hour flights from Johannesburg. |

DIRECTIONS: From Tzaneen Approaching Phalabowra on the R71 from Tzaneen > At the first 4way stop as you enter Phalabowra turn left into Spekboom Rd. Follow Spekboom to its end (7.5klms), which is a T junction with a sand road. At the T junction turn right. The entrance to Silonque Private Game Reserve is 200m on your left.
