After a day of game viewing and enjoying the real bush you can completely relax at our Hydro. Spoil yourself with a nice massage, a jacuzzi or our sauna. We are located in the malaria-free Waterberg biosphere, only 2.5 hrs from Johannesburg. ACCOMMODATIONCottages: Our cottages guarantee privacy and comfort within the bush. All cottages have a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, stove with an oven and spacious braai facilities. Housekeeping will clean and prepare your braai, including the wood. Two bedrooms that can sleep 4 persons are warm during the night and cool during the day with en-suite bathroom as well as outdoor shower. Luxury Lodge Tents: The luxury lodge tents are divided into two parts. The tents are spacious and have an en-suite bathroom. As with the cottages, housekeeping will clean and prepare the braai, including wood. The fully equipped kitchen is made out of brick stones and has a lovely view over the plains. So when preparing dinner you can chat about the great experiences of the day. This creates a great atmosphere when away in the bush with your family. DIRECTIONS: From Johannesburg From Johannesburg go on the N1 towards Pietersburg/Polokwane. Take the exit Nylstroom (120 km north of Pretoria) at the tollgate. Go straight through the town of Nylstroom towards Ellisras. When you arrive in Vaalwater after (about 70 km) go through the town and take a right turn at the SPAR. After 27 km turn left at the exit Rhenosterfontein. After 2 km of dirt road you will find Waterberg Bushveld Retreat on the right hand side. From Johannesburg it is about 2,5 hours drive.
