No Booking Agents
SA-Venues.com does not advertise on behalf of accommodation booking agencies, holiday
letting agents or any body that makes bookings on behalf of an establishment for a fee.
This includes management companies who let out flats on behalf of owners and private
individuals who market properties for holiday letting which they themselves, do not own.
Only One Establishment per Ad
SA-Venues.com will not accept more than one establishment/property per advertisement. If
you wish to advertise more than one establishment/property and your establishments are on
the same property/erf, you may advertise them on the same page. If they are on separate
properties you need to complete application forms for each of your properties. If your
establishments have been graded separately by TGCSA, AA Travel etc. then they are not
considered the same establishment and will require separate ads.
Multiple Properties in the Same Town or Suburb
If you own more than one establishment in the same town/suburb, you need to advertise each
property you own separately. (We might not be able to accept all your properties but we
insist on full disclosure - please be up-front with us). Any advertiser found to be using
the enquiries from a listed establishment on our site to fill another, unlisted
establishment (without having discussed this with us beforehand), will have their ad
removed immediately - no questions, no refunds. Please play fair.
Terms & Conditions of Advertising:
Accreditation
Accommodation Establishments:
We require ALL Accommodation Establishments to be members of, affiliated
with or accredited by one of the Regional or National Tourism Bureau, Tourism Associations
or Accommodation Associations. (e.g. KZN Tourism, NAA, GHASA, TGCSA, SATSA, AA Travel
Guides, Portfolio, Your local Tourism office or Publicity Association, the local Chamber
of Commerce in your area etc.)
Travel and Tour Operators:
SATSA, THETA or FGASA accreditation/membership.
Wedding Organisers and Service Providers:
SAACI, WAHASA or PRISA accreditation/membership.
Accurate Information
SA-Venues.com strives to provide the public with Accurate, up-to-date information.
Advertisers are obliged to inform us of any important changes that take place at their
establishments including changes to grading, rates, services available etc. Please note
that we will not list properties in areas/suburbs they are not located in, we will not
list properties under categories that are not relevant to the accommodation provided and
your registered business name must be used (as registered with your chosen accreditation
association).
Updates
Updates to your advertisement/listing are done free of charge (within reason). All updates
must be submitted to us in writing, no telephonic updates are accepted. Full details on

Change of ownership
Should you sell your establishment whilst you are a member of/advertiser on the
SA-Venues.com Network of sites it is part of our terms and conditions that you notify us
to this effect. (Preferably in writing either via e-mail or by fax). The new owner will be
required to complete a new application and confirm that they have read and agree to our
Terms & Conditions of Advertising.
Invoices & Payment
The annual advertising fee is payable on invoice. The invoices are e-mailed to
you on completion of your advertisement and are payable on presentation. Should
it be necessary for us to take legal action due to non-payment of your account, you will
be responsible for all legal fees incurred.
Annual Renewal
Your advertisement is valid for one full year from the date your advertisement is live on
the SA-Venues.com sites. Approximately 2 weeks prior to your advertisement expiring you
will be sent an e-mail advising that your advertisement is due for renewal. You may then
cancel or renew the advertisement. It is part of our terms and conditions that you advise
us if you wish to cancel. Failure to notify us of your intent to cancel amounts to a
tacit renewal, in which event fees for the following year become due and enforceable.
Enquiries / Privacy Policy
Under no circumstances may advertisers send unsolicited e-mail to members of the public in
response to enquiries they receive via the SA-Venues.com sites. This includes
auto-responders advertising other products or other establishments. Any advertiser found
to be violating this condition will have their advertisement removed without any
discussion or refund. (Not respecting this condition negates our Privacy
Policy and the promise we make to the public that their contact details will not be used
for any purpose other than to respond to the enquiry they have made for the establishment
they have chosen to enquire with).
Early Cancellations
Early cancellations are not eligible for any refund and advertisements can not be
"changed" from one property to another property during the advertising period,
nor can advertisements be "put on hold" and then re-instated again at a later
time.
Copyright and ownership
SA-Venues.com reserves the right to make changes, as and when they are deemed necessary,
to any and all pages on the SA-Venues.com website (and the network of sites within the
brand). This includes but is not limited to design layouts, search methods, content, all
coding etc.
No materials used on the SA-Venues.com network of sites may be uplifted for use in other
publications. (Both online or offline). These materials include logos created by
ourselves, the site layouts and design, scanned and/or resized photographic materials and
all html coding. Permission may not under any circumstances be given to
webmasters of other websites to uplift photographs or materials from our sites.
Please be aware that this practise is illegal and we will take action against anyone who
uplifts content from our sites without express, written permission from ourselves.
(Permission will not be unreasonably withheld provided we are consulted beforehand).
