Table MountainA Holiday in the Cape: There are no words to describe when I flew into Cape Town. As we circled the airport, and looking out of the window, it was so beautiful to see the circumference of the very tip of South Africa and realizing that we were on the other side of the hemisphere and it felt like I was looking out of God's window.

Table Mountain is magnificent, with the clouds forming ontop of the mountain it does look like someone is spreading a table cloth over the mountain. Clifton Beach, with it's white sand and huge rocks, and the beautiful ice cold blue ocean is like a canvas, that is so inviting you just want to jump into the ocean and go swim.

The hospitality was so heartwarming, and the food was so tasty and the music, the beat of the drums made you aware that you were in Africa. The wine farms had restaurants and you could taste the wine and eat fresh made salami and cheese and home baked bread, experience how the wine was made and cultivated. The mountain ranges that surrounded the Cape valleys were so blue in the distance it looked exactly like a postcard.

Parts of the Cape was very modern yet some places were so historical and the history of how Jan van Riebeeck discovered the Cape. The castle still stands and is a huge tourist attraction. The highlight of my trip was the flea markets and watching the Africans making there traditional African art and they were so colorful and they always had a smile and were so humble when you bought their crafts. I would love to return to South Africa and anyone that wants an experience of a lifetime South Africa is your destination!
