Tinga Private Game Lodge is located on a 5000 hectare private concession on the banks of the Sabie River, in the prime game-viewing area in the Kruger National Park. Luxury and exclusivity combine at Tinga to offer the “intimate Kruger Safari”.

Set in the breathtaking Kruger National Park, Tinga's two luxury lodges - Narina and Legends - nestle on the banks of the Sabie River, making it the perfect point from which to experience the full spectrum of Africa's game and wildlife, including Africa's awesome "Big Five". Tinga exudes style, elegance and luxurious comfort - all in the heart of South Africa 's bushveld. It is the ultimate safari destination.

Magical must do’s while at Tinga Lodge

• Observe a host of game, including the “big Five” and hundreds of bird species from the private game viewing deck of your suite, on an open vehicle or on foot with an experienced game tracker in an area with the highest recorded density of Leopards in Africa, as well as the highest predator density.
• Enjoy a private, sumptuous breakfast or dinner on the main Lodge’s dining verandah outside, with a view of the Sabie River and its resident wildlife.
• Dinner under a bushveld sky in the boma.(Weather Permitting)
• A round of Golf on one of Africa’s most unique and scenic courses in the heart of the Kruger National Park, sharing it with an assortment of the local wildlife roaming freely.

LUXURY ACCOMMODATION

Tinga’s two exclusive Lodges, Legends and Narina, each comprises nine suites which are well spaced to ensure complete privacy

Each lodge has
• Nine-air-conditioned suites, each with en-suite bathrooms and a double shower (suites at Narina have an outdoor shower), a separate lounge, mini bar, safe, heated plunge pool and private viewing deck.
• World class facilities including a river deck overlooking the Sabie River, wine cellar stocked with premier African and international wines, a library, boma, lounge and bar and a sparkling swimming pool (at Legends Lodge)

Each suite is
• Positioned to ensure complete privacy with an unobstructed view of game and the Sabie River from its own private viewing deck.
• Equipped with a satellite television, DVD player, direct- dial telephone, international adapters, hairdryers, tea and coffee making facilities.

ON SAFARI

Tinga vehicles have access to the entire Kruger National Park, so you’re sure to meet all the locals, including Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Black and White Rhino, Cheetah, Zebra, Waterbuck, Hippo, Wildebeest, Kudu, Crocodile and an assortment of birds and reptiles.

Safari outings offer a Unique Eco-Experience and include
• Morning and evening safari drives in open vehicles
• Guided bush walks
• “Big Five” tracking
• Bird watching

A maximum of 6 guests is accommodated per vehicle. Safari departure times are flexible. All rangers and trackers are fully FGASA qualified and experienced and follow strict safety procedures.

Even in the midst of the African bush, Tinga provides its own brand of retail therapy. Our boutique stocks a range of fashionable bush wear, luggage and curios, as well as necessities like cameras, film and batteries.

Private Safari Vehicles:

Should you require complete privacy it is possible to reserve a vehicle on a private basis. Sole use of the vehicles does need to be arranged in advance and prices are available on request.
