Shishangeni Private Game Lodge is situated on a 15,000 hectare private concession of the world-renowned Kruger National Park in South Africa. This legendary wildlife reserve has the deserved reputation for the finest game-viewing on the continent.

The Kruger National Park is a savannah region located in South Africa. Six permanent rivers flow through the Kruger Park - the Crocodile, Letaba, Luvuvhu, Olifants, Sabie, and Shingwidzi. Denser subtropical forest occurs along these rivers and provides an important habitat for wildlife. There are no restricting fences between the Private Game Reserves and the Kruger National Park, so exciting wildlife encounters in the open veld are the order of the day, and game viewing here is truly a spectacular experience.

Accommodation

Shishangeni Lodge features 22 individual chalets which can accommodate 44 guests. Each chalet provides a fireplace, aromatic bathroom, an outdoor shower and lounging area, as well as a private deck for game-viewing and sipping drinks while the sun sets over the African bushveld.

Guests staying at the Shishangeni Lodge can enjoy the thrill of early morning or late afternoon game drives in search of the “Big 5” with an expert guide. On the game walks, guests will discover some of the smaller creatures and birds of Africa. The Shishangeni Lodge offers contemporary conference facilities, which can accommodate 44 delegates, the lodge offers a unique African twist on conferencing.

Seating in Boardroom style for 16 delegates, Cinema or Auditorium style seating for 44, U-Shape or banqueting style seating for up to 24 delegates or schoolroom for 32.

Equipment available includes Data projector, Screen, Flipchart and pens, White board. Facilities include air-conditioning, pre-assembly foyer, sound proof conference facilities, outside tea & coffee, natural daylight.
