It is just a 15 minute drive from the famous Kruger Park Game Reserve, one of Africa’s finest conservation areas. The Kruger Park Lodge Resort is a completely secluded environment set in hundreds of acres of Lowveld bush.There is a 9 hole Gary Player-designed golf course (with a further 9 holes to be built in the near future), flood lit tennis courts, 3 swimming pools, crazy golf and for younger children, a trampoline and jungle gym. Nestled on the banks of the Sabi River with superb view, our beautiful villa offers luxury accommodation. Outside there is a spacious veranda with built in braai (barbecue) and garden furniture. Here you can relax in the sunshine whilst listening to the sounds of the river and the African wildlife around you. ACCOMMODATIONThe villa is fully air conditioned and sleeps 6/7 people. The master bedroom, located on the ground floor, is furnished with a king size bed and has an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. The room has French doors that open onto a veranda. There are two other bedrooms: the second bedroom also has a king size bed and ample space, while the third bedroom is a twin bedded room. Upstairs is an airy gallery landing with additional sleeping space for two on a sofa bed. Also upstairs is a bathroom with bath and shower. Downstairs is a spacious living and dining area with large patio doors leading onto the veranda, which has garden furniture and a covered built-in barbecue. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your self-catering needs and has a combination washer drier. There is also a separate cloakroom downstairs. There is a daily house-keeping service. Our cleaner's name is Katie. She comes in each day to clean, wash up and make the beds, so there is no need to lift a finger! GETTING THEREThere are regular flights directly or indirectly into Johannesburg International Airport from all over the world. From London it is a 10,5 hour flight. From there, just a 4-hour drive will take you to our Villa at the Kruger Park Lodge. Car hire can be easily arranged in advance, or alternately there are internal flights that take you from Johannesburg to Nelspruit, where you can hire a car for the short trip to Shangani Villa. If required we may be able to arrange a driver to meet you at Johannesburg Airport, and drive you to our villa. Shangani Villa is just a half hour drive from the world famous 'Kruger National Park Game Reserve' where you can see the 'Big 5' Lion, Leopard, elephant, Rhino and Buffalo. Shangani is nestled on the banks of the Sabi River with superb view and a large veranda and built in barbecue / braai. Within the grounds there are impala, monkeys and a hide where you can sit & watch our family of resident hippo! |
