In the heart of this tourist town of Graskop in Mpumalanga lies Log Cabin and Settlers Village, a lodge with atmosphere that is unsurpassed anywhere in the vicinity. Nothing beats the feel and smell of genuine log cabins and pine trees. Add a cozy log fire in winter and you really are in heaven.

Log Cabin and Settlers Village is rated as a three star establishment. We were also a finalist in the A.A Resort of the Year award. Log Cabin Village is located in Louis Trichard Avenue, the main access road into Graskop from the north. We are right opposite the Panorama Information Office.

Our central location makes us the ideal point from which to explore this fascinating little town on foot. We are surrounded by interesting shops dealing in authentic African art and other articles of interest. Most of Graskop's restaurants are also a stone's throw from your cabin.

ACCOMMODATION


Situated in the heart of the Panorama route (Mpumalanga) you will find the sleepy village of Graskop, and by nature of the location makes our resort the perfect destination for one to visit attractions such as the Kruger National Park, Blyde River Canyon, Gods Window, Pilgrim’s rest and the Long Tom Pass (to mention a few).

Our owner operated 3 star resort comprises of two sections; Log Cabin Village and Settlers Village of which both are situated in the village of Graskop and are fully equipped self-contained chalets and cottages. (Please be sure to request either the Log Cabins or Settlers Village when making an enquiry / booking).

The log cabins are constructed in wood with either one or two bedrooms sleeping 2, 4 or 6 people. Each chalet has a bathroom, lounge, open plan kitchen, patio with braai (barbeque) area and a carport. The kitchens are well equipped with conventional oven and stove, microwave oven, refrigerator, kettle, toaster, cutlery and cookware utensils. In addition each chalet is equipped with a colour TV, heater, safe and many more conveniences for our guests. All linen, bath towels, are supplied and the chalets are fully serviced daily. There is a swimming pool and lapa for use on the premises.

Settler's Village offers a delightful mixture of old world environment and modern comfort. The natural scents of Settlers Village and forestry industry of the region combine with the spaciousness of our grounds and early settler feel to provide a tranquil and charming environment. Set against the backdrop of our award-winning gardens, our cottages offer comfortable fully equipped self catering or b&b cottages. The self catering en-suite cottages comprise of twin or double beds and sleep two, all of which have a three star grading. In addition to the above we also have a swimming pool and restaurant on the premises for breakfast, lunch or light meals.

Log Cabin and Settlers Village is situated in the village of Graskop, making it convenient for restaurants, curio shops, etc. Graskop is central to all the scenic attractions in Mpumalanga including, the Pinnacle (3.5km), God's Window (10km), Bourke's Luck Potholes (42km), Blyde River Canyon (Three Rondavels 53km), Lisbon Falls (11km), Berlin Falls (14km) and Mac Mac Falls (16km) and the beautiful passes of Long Tom, Kowyns and Robbers Pass with spectacular view sites.

After a long day exploring the wonders of the Mpumalanga Lowveld region, come back and relax around our pool with a tall sundowner and good company. For after hours entertainment, breakfasts, light suppers and dinners, we recommend The Local Pub and The Coachman Grill.

DIRECTIONS:

FROM JOHANNESBURG
Take the N4 from Johannesburg; pass Witbank and the Shell Ultra City outside Middelburg.Turn off the N4 at Belfast (206 km from OR Tambo International Airport to Belfast). Take the R540 from Belfast to Dullstroom (33 kilometres). Continue on the R540 from Dullstroom to Lydenburg (55 kilometres). From Lydenburg, take the R36 towards Ohrigstad / Pilgrimˇ¦s rest, approximately 20km from Lydenburg turn right to Pilgrim's Rest and continue to Graskop. When entering Graskop turn left at the second stop street, right at the next into Louis Trichardt, go over the next stop street and you will find us on the right hand side.

FROM KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
Take the R535 to Graskop (40km), once in Graskop turn right at the third stop street, go over the next stop street and you will find us on the right hand side.
