ACCOMMODATIONThe Bungalows (sleep 2 people each), designed in the African rondavel style with artistically constructed lofty thatched roofs, provide absolute privacy in exquisite and harmonious surroundings. Reclining on the veranda and enjoying the view over the river with its water flowing gently around rocks and islands, is sheer magic. The Cottage (sleeps 4 people), lovingly and tastefully furnished, has a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable living / dining room and two bedrooms. It is built amongst natural rocks and indigenous trees. The warmth of the Homestead - built around the most impressive Jackalberry tree - welcomes the guests with a hearty breakfast, an exquisite dinner or for a comfortable gathering, either around an open fire, on the terrace, or at the bar, with a warm log fire on cool winter evenings. THE AREAJackalberry Farm & Lodge is located in sub-tropical Hazyview. With its all year round holiday climate of hot summers with cooling rains and sunny, warm winter days, it is an ideal base from which to tour and explore the world famous Kruger National Park and the many beautiful wonders of the Lowveld. Other excursions like night drives into nearby game parks, a visit to the neighbouring crocodile farm, balloon rides or horse trails can be organised and booked by your hosts. And for the sport enthusiasts: golf, tennis, bowls, trout fishing and river rafting are all in the vicinity.
