From the comforts of our bush lodge on the banks of the Crocodile River, the southern boundary of Kruger, we explore South Africas greatest wilderness region. ACCOMMODATIONWelcome to Bushwise Safari Lodge, combining upmarket luxury accommodation with the real safari experience of the Kruger National Park. Our lodge overlooks famous wildlife wilderness where each of the BIG 5 has been viewed from the lodge itself. On most nights, guests are able to hear the grunting and squabbling of hippo in the river together with the roaring of lion and the eerie calling of hyena. The lodge is double storey Located under cool thatch Only five guest bedrooms All with bathrooms en-suite Each bedroom is elegantly furnished Each bedroom has mosquito screening, ceiling fans and air-conditioning The two upper storey bedrooms each have their own balcony with views over the Crocodile River into Kruger. We remain small and personal so our guests can be comfortably accommodated and cared for. FACILITIESThe upper rendezvous deck, which encompasses the fully equipped bar and relaxed seating area, is partially open to the elements to enhance the bush experience. Guests can sit back and chill out while bird watching and game viewing from the comfort of the deck. GAME DRIVESWe offer open vehicle safaris into the Kruger National Park with fully qualified and trained bush guides. Bush breakfasts, cooked and served by our rangers overlooking a waterhole in the park are always a favourite with our guests. Night drive safaris and bush walks in the Kruger Park accompanied by armed rangers add to the excitement of the ultimate African experience. DININGTo round off the perfect day, guests enjoy our excellent traditional cuisine with dinner served outdoors in our boma around a bush fire under the stunning African sky. DIRECTIONS: From Nelspruit follow the N4 towards Malelane and Maputo. 10kms from Hectorspruit turn left into Marloth Park. Follow dirt road and enter gate. Continue along Olifant Road for approx. 7 kms. Left into Waterbok St, Right into Swartwitpens, left into Nyala.
